We
have regular monthly events as well as seasonal activities. If you’re a beginner or a novice, don’t hold back.
Most groups would be delighted to teach a new member. Not sure you can commit to a full season? Many groups welcome “drop
ins” or substitutes. Some activities such as Applause and Dining Out can include spouses and guests. Every group has a contact person who is eager to answer your questions
and introduce you to the group. If you don't see a group that reflects your personal interests -- start one! The monthly PartyLine

Applause
We attend 3-4 live performances each year, ranging from musicals, ballets, concerts, plays or whatever
interests us. Spouses, family members, or friends are welcome. Most events are booked 6-12 months in advance.

Bridge-a-Rama
Two people form a partnership for the year and play another assigned partnership each month at a home and
time convenient for the foursome. The season begins in September and ends in June. Each partnership plays 8 times.
Book Club
The afternoon book club is held at a member's home the second Monday of each month at 1 p.m. from September
to May.
Bowling
Our regular season begins in September and runs through April every Tuesday morning. We offer free coffee
and much fun and laughter. No experience necessary. We are in need of several regular bowlers, and we can always add to our
sub list.
Daytime Bridge
This fun, no-pressure group meets year-round on the third Thursday of the month at 9:30am. Tables are made up
each month from a list of interested players.
Daytime Bunco
Bunco is played the first Thursday morning of the month. Bunco is a simple,
enjoyable game that is easy to learn and very social. This game can be learned in a matter of minutes.
Golf
We play 9 holes every Tuesday morning from April till October. Any level of experience is
welcome. We play to have fun and exercise.
Marathon Bridge
This group plays at Ciatti's in Woodbury at 9:30AM on the 2nd Thursday of each month with the exception
of Jan, Feb, and March. An individual cumulative score is kept. We are always in need of subs.
Crafts
Card-stamping, basket-making, quilting, jewelry making… These are just some of the craft projects offered on
an occasional basis – everyone, regardless of experience, is invited to attend.
